More About Debbie

For more than 25 years, Debbie Gibson has been an entertainer of great talent. From singer, songwriter and musician to actress and dancer, she embodies what it truly means to be an entertainer.

At 16-years old, Debbie Gibson became the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a number one single, “Foolish Beat,” a record she still holds today in the Guinness Book of World Records. To date, Gibson has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide. Debbie Gibson has a great passion to speak about cancer and cancer awareness to patients, survivors and their families. Her message about positive living, hope and inspiration through music has encouraged many to believe in their ability and strength to overcome cancer.

Debbie Gibson also mentors young artists through her art and music camp, “Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth.” She also formed the “Gibson Girl Foundation,” a non-pro t organization that awards scholarships and musical education opportunities to underprivileged children with a desire to participate in performing arts programs.
