The team at Glendale Adventist Alcohol & Drug Services (GAADS) can assist in helping an individual confront their addiction in many ways, from interventions and assessments to admissions. From coaching a family along about how to get an individual to show up for an assessment, to providing pre-intervention training opportunities for families where there may be problems with drugs or alcohol, we are here to provide treatment and support.
Intervention
Many people with addictions don't recognize when their behavior gets out of hand. Studies find that more people enter treatment if their family members or employers confront them with compassion and empathy, are honest with them about their concerns, and try to help them see that addiction is preventing them from reaching their goals. GAADS can assist in this intervention process every step of the way.
We hope this guide will make our comprehensive services easier to understand and use. We are contracted with all major private health plans, and can make attractive private payment arrangements. We try to schedule assessments and admissions so that patients and families will not spend time needlessly waiting in our facility. Assessments are free and confidential.
Day or night, we can be reached at (818) 242-3116. In an urgent situation, please ask a team member to page the intake coordinator or department manager and we will respond promptly.
