At Glendale Adventist Alcohol and Drug Services, we understand that family involvement is extremely important both during and after residential treatment, day treatment or outpatient programs.
Family can mean something different to every person, but we are committed to involving the people significant to our patients during treatment. This approach includes as much as seven hours of group work each week for family members, including multi-family education for an hour and multi-family therapy for two hours on Saturday mornings for all of our patients in Phase I. Residential and day treatment programs include another two hours of multi-family therapy on Tuesday nights. A codependency group takes place on Thursday nights for family members to explore their own concerns separate from their family member in treatment.
