March 11, 2012, marked our 5th annual Glendale News-Press Downtown Dash! Thanks to all of our amazing participants, volunteers, sponsors and supporters! ALL GOALS for participation, sponsorships, fundraising and teams were met! Thanks to everyone for an INCREDIBLE job on such a challenging and worthwhile event!
With stroke as the 2nd leading of cause of death in the San Fernando Valley and the 2nd leading cause of adult disability in America, Glendale Adventist Medical Center has teamed up with the Downtown Glendale Merchants Association to bring you the Glendale News-Press Downtown Dash.
A 5k run/walk through the heart of downtown Glendale, the Dash offers a fun, family atmosphere that takes participants down Brand Blvd, through the Americana and back up again. 100% of the proceeds from this event support GAMC Stroke Services for our community. Through community lectures, screenings and new technology for only Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center in Glendale, we can help fight this deadly and disabling condition.
We're already looking forward to the 2013 Dash! So save the date now: March 10, 2013!
