On Thursday, December 16, Glendale Police Department Chief Ron DePompa presented Glendale Adventist Cancer Services with an (oversized) check in the amount of $5,000 to hospital officials. Massage Envy Spa of Glendale will also be presenting a (oversized) check in the amount of $1,500 for Cancer Services. The Chief created a pin for Army of Pink to raise awareness and funds to be donated towards Glendale Adventist Medical Center Cancer Services.

Massage Envy Spa of Glendale raised funds with a hands-on approach: everyone who showed proof of voting for Army of Pink was given a coupon good for $10 off a massage or facial, and Massage Envy donated an additional $10 to Glendale Adventist Medical Center Cancer Services. They also sold pins for a donation of $10. Massage Envy contributed in Army of Pink campaign efforts to raise awareness (and donations).

The Army of Pink campaign was hosted by Glendale Adventist Medical Center this past October to help raise community awareness about cancer prevention and local treatment options.
