GLENDALE, CA October -- 8, 2010 -- Glendale Adventist Medical Center is proud to announce that the Army of Pink campaign, as of 9 AM today (8 days into the voting), has collected 10,000 votes online. Now that Army of Pink has hit the 10,000 vote mark, the hospital is cutting the check to the Glendale Relay for Life event.
The battle between candidates for community's votes continues strong. Many Army of Pink candidates are within less than 100 votes of each other.
Together the candidates are raising awareness for breast cancer and showing that the Cancer Center at Glendale Adventist is a local resource helping friends and family battle cancer and focus on healing.
