GLENDALE, CA – April 26, 2009 – The Healthcare Foundation at Glendale Adventist Medical Center hosted its annual fundraising Gala on Sunday, April 26, at the Pasadena Convention Center Grand Ballroom.
RyanDan, identical twin singing team, entertained gala participants. RyanDan is captivating audiences the world over with soaring vocals and tight-knit, sibling harmonies. The 28-year-old brothers Ryan and Dan Kovarsky are currently multi-platinum-selling stars in Canada where they are gearing up for their self-titled US debut. Their pure, rich voices and spectacular four-octave range thrilled and inspired gala participants in this exclusive performance.
Funds raised will benefit Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Since opening its doors in 1905, Glendale Adventist Medical Center has continually expanded its facilities and services to provide the best possible care to the community.
Complementing its fund-raising efforts, the Healthcare Foundation at Glendale Adventist also honored individuals who have provided philanthropic and volunteer support, both for the hospital and for organizations throughout the community.
Mr. and Mrs. Hernan Barros received the Erwin J. Remboldt Founder’s Award for outstanding individual philanthropy. Dr. Stanley Zerne Family were presented with the Erwin J. Remboldt Founder’s Award for outstanding individual philanthropy. Nickolette Way received the Georgia Abelmann Award for her outstanding contributions to the community and The Georgina Fredrick Children’s Foundation will receive the Frank F. Dupper Award for outstanding corporate philanthropy.
