GAMC to Celebrate Cancer Survivors

Glendale Adventist Medical Center will host its annual Cancer Survivor’s luncheon and Flame of Hope Award Ceremony on Monday, June 24, from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM. The event will celebrate cancer survivors and their caregivers.

Keynote speaker Debbie Gibson was 16-years old when she became the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a number one single, Foolish Beat, a record she still holds today in the Guinness Book of World Records. To date, Gibson has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide.

Gibson has a great passion for speaking about cancer and cancer awareness to patients, survivors and their families. Her message is about positive living, hope and inspiration through music has encouraged many to believe in their ability and strength to overcome cancer.

The program will also feature the quality award announcement, Flame of Hope award and cancer survivors’ recognition.
