Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s “Women’s Works Program” to Host Free Seminar/Luncheon for Women on May 18
On Friday, May 18, Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s “Women’s Works” program will offer a free seminar/ luncheon for women at the hospital from Noon to 2 PM. Glendale Adventist Medical Center is located at 1509 Wilson Terrace, Glendale. The seminar topic will focus on advanced treatment options, including da Vinci for women’s health conditions and cancer prevention through nutrition. Regular activity and smart eating are crucial for living longer, healthier and happier.
Guest speakers will include: John Kirk, MD, Gynecologist Robotic Surgery Specialist and Jennifer Lang, MD, Gynecologic-Oncologist Robotic Surgery Specialist.
Glendale Adventist Medical Center joins the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health in celebrating National Women’s Health Week from May 13 to 19. This year, the organization challenges women across the country to make their health a top priority. Regular checkups are vital to the early detection of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, mental health illnesses, sexually transmitted infections and many other conditions.
