Glendale Adventist Medical Center launches the “Live Well Senior Program” to help seniors navigate through the Health Care Maze
GLENDALE, CA – April 21, 2011 – Glendale Adventist Medical Center (GAMC) announces the “Live Well Senior Program” that provides seniors easy access to health care information and resources including wellness and prevention services. Launching this week (April 18), the program is a connectivity platform intended to educate and help seniors live more productive healthier lives.
“Educating seniors is one of the most important things we can do to help bring high-value, cost-conscious health care to Americans,” says Denise Miller, MBA, OTR/L, Director of the Live Well Senior Program at GAMC. “GAMC hopes to play a role in improving the lives of individuals and families facing the inevitable challenges of aging. We are providing consumer-directed health and wellness solutions that further demonstrate our commitment to empowering patients and consumers.”
The Live Well Senior Program supports an expanding community of content, services and engagement tools, as well as comprehensive financial, health and wellness decision-making. The program is designed to offer individuals greater comfort and assurance about the health and safety of their loved ones and patients.

Monthly education seminars
Health screenings
Doctor finder
Health & wellness program discounts at the GAMC Therapy & Wellness Center
Health insurance consultations
Retirement & financial planning consultations
Volunteer opportunities
The comprehensive “Live Well Senior Program” (available to individuals for $15/year or to couples for $25/year) includes all of the items in the FREE membership, plus:
Dedicated phone line for scheduling outpatient visits
Medical bill review with a patient financial representative
Quarterly medication consultation with a GAMC Doctor of Pharmacy
Reserved parking in an area designated for Comprehensive Program Members
Annual flu shot
