Q: Why are you supporting the Army of Pink?

A: I want to do my part to support the altruistic efforts of GAMC to combat cancer. My mother-in-law was stricken with breast cancer; my wife endured appendiceal cancer, my close friend had throat cancer and two neighbors suffered from breast cancer. The afflictions of cancer do not discriminate. It has or will, impact someone we love at some point in our lives.

Q:  What is your personal campaign message/slogan?

A:  "Extinguish cancer."

Q:  What is your Glendale claim to fame?

A:  I am the Deputy Fire Chief. Through our mission at the Fire Department, I work to protect lives and property by providing the highest level of service to the community of Glendale.

Q:  How long have you lived/worked in Glendale?

A:  I have worked for the City of Glendale for 26 years.

Q:  What is your favorite thing about Glendale?

A:  I love the beautiful hiking trails with commanding views of the City.  I enjoy early morning trail runs before work. I get to greet other enthusiasts whom like me, enjoy the hidden jewels of Glendale’s trails.

Q:  What do you wish people knew about our city?

A:  Glendale offers everything in a very convenient manner. Our parking, shopping, public safety, proximity to essential business / commerce venues, and overall quality of life is an example of “what right looks like.” Glendale offers a balance of integration with its partners in business, education, City government, and hospitals.  The synergy of working together makes Glendale a thriving environment.\

Q. What is your favorite Glendale hangout?

A. It's a tie between LaCita and the Kozy Korner - best Thai cuisine ever!

Q: Do you have any other special message that you’d like to share?

A: I would like to emphasize how important it is for everyone to educate about breast cancer and early detection. Lets band together and muster all we have to eradicate this disease.
