The 28-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU), located on the east side of the Glendale Adventist campus, provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services.
Individualized treatment programs are carried out by our expert staff, including our board certified medical director, rehabilitation nurses and therapists.
Unit features include:
- State-of-the-art therapy gym
- Patient/Family lounge
- Dining area
- Full service training kitchen
- Apartment set up with furniture to simulate the home environment.
Conditions treated in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit include, but are not limited to:
- Brain tumor/hemorrhage
- Traumatic brain injury
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Spinal cord injury
- Multiple trauma and/or amputation
- Joint replacement
- Guillain-Barre syndrome
