In this episode we meet Michelle Jocson, stroke coordinator at Glendale Adventist and Nina Nielson, head nurse of the neuro telemetry unit at Glendale Adventist, who go over the basics of stroke including signs and symptoms of stroke, what to do if someone is having a stroke and where to go.
Dr. Lance Lee, neurologist and medical director of the Glendale Adventist Stroke Center, joins the show to talk about the amazing advances in the treatment of stroke.
Susanne visits the neuro telemetry unit (NTU) at Glendale Adventist, where patients who suffer from stroke go to recover. She finds out more from Zary Koftekian, a charge nurse on the unit.
