General visiting hours end at 8:00PM but may vary from unit to unit. See below for unit-specific information.
After hours visits may be arranged with the head nurse or house supervisor with the patient's permission.
All visitors must be well and symptom free from illness. If GAMC staff reasonably believe that a visitor has a virus that may be transmitted to patients, the staff will ask the visitor to leave and return when his/her condition has improved. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Every floor has a family lounge so visitors can take turns being with the patient. Please limit 2 visitors per room at a time.
