 Clinical Faculty
Dr. Katrina Miller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine who comes to the Descanso Family Practice after six years at the University of Southern California. Dr. Miller was an assistant professor at the Keck School of Medicine and Family Medicine Residency, co-chair for the Core Principles Course and medical director for the Physicians' Assistant Program.
Upon completing her BA at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Miller received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed her Family Medicine residency locally at UCLA-Westwood. She has worked in student health and all aspects of family medicine with particular interest in adolescent medicine, women and men's sexual health, psychology and psychiatry as well as dermatology.
Her writing has been published in journals and texts and she continues research in primary care education. Personal interests include internet media, music, and the arts.
