 Seeking new ways to improve the health and lives of all of our community members is of paramount importance at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. As the California Department of Aging is expecting the elderly population to grow more than twice as fast as the total population overall from 1990 to 2020, it’s no surprise GAMC is committed to doing our part to ensure they are able to have the best quality of life, as well as longevity.
The Live Well Senior Program at GAMC provides easy access to health information, resources, wellness and prevention programs for the 55+ age group. Member benefi ts include monthly education seminars, health screenings and insurance consultations, discounts at the GAMC cafeteria, gift shop and fi tness classes and assistance with finding a doctor at GAMC. In addition, individuals may decide to upgrade their membership for a nominal fee and join the Live Well Comprehensive Senior Program, which includes all the above benefi ts plus: A dedicated phone line for
information on scheduling outpatient visits, medical bill review with a patient financial representative, quarterly medication consultation with a GAMC Pharmacist, notary for health care related services and an on-call volunteer escort for campus appointments.
