After four years of family medicine practice in rural Mississippi, Dr. Cunningham moved to Southern California and accepted a clinical/administrative position at Cigna Healthplans. She began residency teaching in 1990 and enjoys the wide scope and continuity of family practice.
In addition to administering the residency program, she maintains active inpatient office and obstetrics privileges. The Los Angeles area is the best place in the world to live, according to her, because of the excitement of the city and its amazing cultural diversity.
