An Invitation to Transform Comfort and Advance Care

Two hallmarks of Glendale Adventist Medical Center are access to the latest medical technology and a healing environment focused on whole person care. Such expectations are the result of GAMC's focus on providing healthcare at a higher level.

Today, GAMC is expanding its tradition of superior service by embarking on a capital campaign to renovate its East Tower and to purchase a multi-slice CT scanner to enhance medical imaging for patients.

Multi-Slice CT Scanner

Computer Tomography, or CT, has long been an important diagnostic tool for physicians. CT technology is constantly changing, resulting in non-invasive imaging that is faster and more accurate than ever before.

The beauty of a multi-slice CT scanner lies in its capacity to render pinpoint accurate medical imaging in seconds for a wide range of cardiac, neuro and other patient imaging needs. Radiologists can image entire organs, including the heart, lungs and brain in a simple 10-minute procedure.

East Tower Renovations

GAMC understands the importance of an environment that is comfortable and inviting. Our goal is to renovate the East Tower to create a refreshed atmosphere that is focused on recovery and healing.

Patient room renovations will include:

  • New bathroom flooring and appliances
  • Refurbished patient headboards with built-in nurse call buttons
  • New furniture
  • Flat screen TVs and computer shelves for family Internet access
  • Fresh paint, window coverings and new artwork
