Requires familiarity with all aspects of chemical dependency, assessment, and treatment planning, including the ability to facilitate all manners of group, family and individual counseling in the department. The position carries responsibility for and a special focus on the planning, delivery and monitoring of family treatment for patients. Written, verbal and general inter-personal communication skills are essential. Eligibility for or Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist. Complete understanding of twelve-step recovery, jargon and practice is required. Certification in standard First Aid & CPR is required.
